Sustainable Bourne Valley
Sustainable Bourne Valley (SBV) is a community group set up in January 2019 with the aim of protecting the natural environment and promoting sustainable living in Hampshire's beautiful Bourne Valley.
Our planet is seriously threatened by problems like climate change, deforestation and plastic pollution, but by making small changes to our lifestyles we, as a community, can make a difference. For example, by reducing the amount of plastic and other non-biodegradable goods we use and by reusing and recycling as much as possible we can reduce the burden on the planet's already over-stretched resources.
To make recycling even easier, we've produced a handy new guide to recycling in St Mary Bourne parish which you can find here.
As well as sharing ideas for how we can all live more sustainably - here on our website and on our Facebook page - SBV is leading hands-on projects in our community to improve biodiversity and create habitats for threatened species in the Bourne Valley.
